Serving Our Community

Food Pantry Ministry

At our church, we believe in living out Christ’s love through compassion, dignity, and service. One of the most tangible ways we serve our community is through our monthly Food Pantry, a program designed to provide families and individuals with essential groceries in a welcoming, respectful environment. Whether you’re in need of assistance or looking for a meaningful way to support others, this ministry is here for you.

Monthly Food Pantry

Our Food Pantry is held on the 3rd Saturday of every month from 9:00–10:00 AM. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and doors typically open a few minutes early to accommodate those who arrive ahead of time.

We welcome anyone who needs support—whether it’s for a single month or on a regular basis. The only requirement is that visitors bring a valid driver’s license or state-issued ID for check-in. No proof of income, residency, or additional documentation is needed. If you or someone you know needs food assistance, you belong here.

A “Choice” Pantry That Respects Your Needs

One of the things that makes our pantry unique is that it is a “choice” pantry. Instead of receiving a pre-packed box that may or may not include items your household can use, shoppers get the opportunity to select the items that work best for them.

We believe that dignity matters. Being able to choose your groceries not only reduces waste—it honors personal preferences, dietary needs, and the simple human experience of having a say in what goes on your own table.

Our shelves typically include a rotating selection of:

Because we operate on donated goods and partnered support, the selection may vary month to month, but we always strive to offer variety and quality.

A “Choice” Pantry That Respects Your Needs

If you’re looking for a meaningful way to make a difference in the lives of families and individuals in our community, supporting our Food Pantry is a wonderful place to start. This ministry thrives because of the dedication of volunteers who give their time and energy, the generosity of donors who provide essential resources, and the ongoing support of people who believe in our mission of compassion and service.

Every contribution—whether it’s a few hours of your time, a financial gift, or donated groceries—directly impacts the lives of those who rely on this pantry. By participating, you become part of a caring community that works together to ensure that no one in our area goes hungry, and that everyone has access to the nourishment and support they need.

Financial gifts allow us to restock needed items, purchase fresh goods, and keep the ministry running smoothly. When giving online or in person, you can now choose where your donation should be applied. The options include:

If you enjoy serving others, sharing a friendly smile, or helping keep things organized, we would love to have you join our team of volunteers! Volunteers play an essential role in making our Food Pantry run smoothly—they help sort and organize donations, greet guests with warmth and kindness, stock shelves, and assist shoppers as they choose the items that best meet their needs. Volunteering is not only a way to give back to the community, but it’s also a chance to connect with others, make new friends, and experience the joy of serving those in need. Interested in getting involved? Connect with Pastor Seth for more information about training, scheduling, and how you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors.

Strengthening Our Community, One Family at a Time

Why This Ministry Matters

The Food Pantry is more than a once-a-month event—it’s a reflection of our mission to serve our neighbors with compassion and purpose. Groceries can be costly, and for many families, even a small amount of support can free up resources for rent, utilities, childcare, and other essentials.

Every month, we see how meaningful this ministry is. Whether it’s a parent stretching their grocery budget, a senior on a fixed income, or a family navigating a difficult season, the pantry offers practical help and a reminder that our community is stronger when we support one another.
